Bretagne (Brittany) Area
Josselin is located adjacent to the N24 motorway between Rennes and Lorient and is less than 90 minutes drive south from Dinard airport and St Malo ferry port, and 45 minutes from both Rennes and Lorient airports and 40mins from the south Brittany coast.
This beautiful spot is in the heart of Brittany with the southern coast and the Gulf of Morbihan only a 40-minute car ride away and the north coast about an hour and a half away. On the north, St Malo and the ancient walled town of Dinan, are both well worth visiting and the south coast has many excellent seaside towns with water sports.
At the nearby Lac au Duc (10 mins by car) there is an excellent mountain-biking circuit, an old railroad recycled into 53 km of signed paths and water sports are available all year (sailboats, canoes, water skiing) along with a 9-hole golf course.

Please have a look through the places listed to visit throughout Brittany.
These are only a few of the stunning places to visit.
Please note that any link in purple can be clicked on to take you to the official website for that area.
Perhaps if you know of somewhere that you love, a little hidden gem. Then why not email me the details and I will feature it on my website.
There is so much to do in and around the Brittany are. It is a real favourite with British tourists who want to capture the french charm and witness sights where history was created... etc etc

The Port of Vannes is only a 50 minute drive and is well worth the visit for the scenery and fine dining

A beautiful lake, called Lac Au Duc is a real favourite for people and is close by to the Brittany property

Yet another stunning place that has to be visited is Rochefort-en-Terre which is utterly enchanting. The sight of the houses huddled on top of a spur of shale overlooking a luxuriant green landscape seems to have come straight out of a fairy tale book

Ploermel is a growing town on the crossroads of Brittany. It has many shops, restaurants, small hotels and a market on Fridays

If you have never visited Mont Saint Michel, then this place is well worth the drive. It is the sister to Saint Michael's Mount in Cornwall, however this one is more spectacular. Very Impressive
